Redwood Landscape is looking to hire a Landscape Maintenance Foreman for their growing business. This person is someone who is known for being a responsible, self-starter. They thrive on teamwork, possess a keen attention to detail, and are dedicated to providing exceptional service. The landscape foreman's responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces and maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, strong leadership skills, and a sound knowledge of pesticides and chemicals.

Some of responsibilities expected of you:

• Operate company truck and trailer to service customer properties, focusing on mowing and trimming with tools like zero-turn mowers, line trimmers and blowers
• Handle additional tasks like mulch installation and project assistance
• Engage with on-site customers
• Prioritize training crew members
• Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times
• Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment

The foundational requirements you already have:

• Minimum 3 years experience
• High school diploma
• Must have valid driver's license
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping
• Supervisory experience in landscaping an asset
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
• Proficiency in safe mowing equipment use
• Commitment to training a crew
• Must plan efficiently on-site with keen attention to detail
• Must be willing to work outdoors in diverse weather
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
